Meet Ahh Gavé, the first “smooth seltzer” canned cocktail crafted from pure blue agave and real fruit. The launch campaign featured three “ahh-inspired” flavors: Watermelon Mint-arita, Luscious Lime-arita, and Another Paloma Por Favor. The initial rollout was launched in 2022, exclusively direct-to-consumer in the United States.

The collaboration between Ahh Gavé and ©Hello Comrade was over a year in the making — from brand strategy, naming, product visualizations for seed rounds with investors, to the final identity, packaging, communications, art direction, and website production. Inspired by the bright, clean taste of natural fruit flavors combined with real agave, ©HC aimed for a refined brand aesthetic. The visual strategy was inspired by the brand’s coined category “smooth spiked seltzers.” We aimed for a refreshing-meets-spirited experience. The art direction, packaging, and label design followed a design language of neutral and inviting backdrops mixed with snappy graphical and typographical elements.
